Sponsored by WR Refrigeration  This category has been created to recognise the fact that retailers are driving much of the progress in environmentally advanced cooling and that the supermarkets have a larger portfolio of projects to draw on than other sectors. Thus the retailers have a level playing field to be judged on, and the judges will expect a high standard of evidence of success. To win this category, the judges will be looking for policies that are environmentally pioneering, technologically innovative and that are economically sustainable. 'Flagship' or 'eco' projects will be required to be complimented by evidence of wider environmental development around the estate. Good data should be a given and external testimonials or accreditation is desirable. |
